A retreat shaped around nature, restoration, and time together.
This proposed design brings architecture, nature, and well-being together in a series of connected outdoor rooms. Natural stone, warm wood, layered lighting, and considered planting create a setting intended for quiet moments, shared meals, and relaxed evenings outdoors.

The project brief imagines an outdoor experience that goes beyond appearance: a place to unwind, engage the senses, and feel more connected to nature. Each zone has its own purpose while remaining part of a calm, visually balanced whole.
Water, stone, and light
A sculptural stone “weeping wall” introduces the sound and movement of water. Integrated lighting is intended to bring a softer atmosphere after sunset while highlighting the wall’s natural texture.
A layered planting palette
Curated planting adds color, texture, and seasonal interest around the outdoor rooms. The proposed palette works with stone, timber, and layered light to make the retreat feel connected to its garden setting.
